I’ll be in my trailer… watching trailers: The haunting, haunted kind

Join us every week for a trip into the weird and wonderful world of trailers. Whether it’s the first teaser for the latest installment in your favourite franchise, an obscure preview for a strange indie darling, whether it’s good, bad, ugly or just plain weird – your favourite pop culture baristas are there to tell you what they think.

Mege: Since some of this little band of cultural baristas have talked at length about Mike Flanagan’s The Haunting of Hill House, they don’t want to hide the fact from you that Flanagan has done it again and will bring you The Haunting of Bly Manor, this time loosely based on Henry James’ The Turning of the Screw. Premieres on Netflix on October 9, 2020.

Matt: Why give you a trailer for one film when you can show one for eleven? My favourite local cinema has been running the first ever Swiss-Turkish film festival and we managed to see two of the films, Küçük SeylerLa Belle Indifference and Bozkir – Steppe. The trailer for the entire festival kinda makes me wish we’d managed to see more of them.
